Caproni checkout
The owner Pedro de la Serna was visiting in his home country of Argentina while his son, Pedro, was checked out to fly the beautiful two-place side-by-side Italian-made Caproni, very few of which are flying in the US. I was pleased to have been involved in its annual inspection and lucky to get the chance to be checked out in it by our instructor Charlie Hayes. Here are three generations with Pedro's Caproni and Charlie:

Wonderfull to see Pedro's Calif is flying by his son!!Pedro sr was vissiting us in Bolzano italy 2 years ago at the first Calif meeting.His 2 sons also.My wife and I have been at Hollister airport last September and saw Pedro's glider in his trailer.
