Emil Kissel and the B-314
My friend Emil, a long-time glider pilot and career PanAm Flight Engineering Officer gave a wonderful talk to an SRO gathering of interested aviation people at the Monterey airport a few weeks ago. There is plenty of info on the "net". e.g. http://www.clipperflyingboats.com/pan-am/boeing-b314

Mr. Kissel was my science teacher in elementary school, and I give him a lot of the credit for my interest in science and medicine. I Googled him, hoping to look him up, and found your blog post instead. Great to read that he's still doing what he loves!
