12/9 rides

Garret was first in and first up for a Silver Hawk ride on a clear day with no wind.

Joe had a camera with "film" in it.  He told me of going to a store looking to buy some film and the gal at the counter asked, "what's that"!

The little digital camera I use does pretty well even through the plexiglass canopy:

Shannon and Brian were going to take a ride together but split up when they found they could have individual rides in the spacious front seat with better visibility than the rear seat offers.  Also they would have the opportunity to operate the controls to fly the glider if they so wished.  Shannon went with me and Brian went with our manager/instructor Quest.

Eric was my last passenger for the day.  As a photographer he appreciated the "beautiful light":
As we were towing the glider back to its tie-down for the night I got a pic of the moon-rise over the Diablos.  The photographers would have done better!
